~Two to four one-time cash awards of $1,500.00 each will be presented to deserving applicants as chosen by the MTA Education Award Committee. The decision of the committee is final and will be based upon criteria presented in this application packet.
Applicant Qualifications
~Any MHS graduating senior who is planning to major in education in college the next fall.
~ OR ~
~Any MTA member’s graduating son/daughter who is a senior from any high school planning to attend college next fall with any chosen major.
Award Presentation
~The scholarship winners will be asked to attend Middletown Teachers’ Association’s Annual Dinner where they will each be presented with a check for $1,500.00. An invitation will be sent with specific information regarding the banquet after each scholarship winner has been notified.
